I have removed all of the of the files to my printer. Later on i did a anti-virus scan and i seen that it was scanning the hp files (i have no other files than my hp printer) Why is this???

Permanently deleted files remain on the hard disk, though not visible,till they are overwritten by some other files. They also occupy space on hard disk, but it is also not shown by computer.

Ive had Systemic Antivius from Norton since ive had my computer, but it got deleted recently. I was just gonna reinstall it, but is there something else you would recommend?
